A 21-year old driver of this Maserati Ghibli has recently managed to crash the brand new ride while leaving school, in the United States.
Usually we are presenting you with some supercar incidents or very rare vehicle crashes in this section but a brand new Maserati Ghibli couldn’t have escaped us. According to the guys at Wrecked Exotics, the Italian vehicle in question has been crashed by a 21-year old driver, who rear-ended somebody while leaving school. The incident took place in Shawnee Mission, Kansas, USA, and happily, no one was injured in the incident. This is probably one of the first recorded crashes of a Maserati Ghibli.
The new Maserati Ghibli has been in production since 2013 and it’s currently being offered as a four-door sedan, with a front-engine and rear-wheel drive or all-wheel drive layout. The Ghibli is the company’s first ever model to get a diesel engine, which is coming as a 3.0 liter V6, with 275 HP (205 kW) and 600 Nm (443 lb-ft) of torque. There is also a 3.0 liter petrol burner, which is rated at 330 HP (250 kW) and 500 Nm (369 lb-ft) of torque. The top of the line unit is a 3.0L V6 turbocharged, producing 410 HP (310 kW) and (550 Nm (406 lb-ft) of torque.
