According to the Italian based automaker, the Maserati Ghibli diesel, equipped with the 3.0 liter V6 engine, with 271 BHP, is the cheapest version of the BMW 5-Series, Audi A6, Mercedes-Benz E-Class and Jaguar XF rival, priced at 48,830 GBP. The next in the lineup is the 3.0 liter V6 twin turbo petrol car, with its 325 HP. This will set you back for 63,415 GBP. The Ghibli diesel is the most economical version, rated at 47.9 mpg. The car is emitting 158 g/km of CO2 and it can sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in 6.3 seconds.
The V6 petrol powered Ghibli can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.8 seconds and it returns 26.9 mpg while emitting 246 g/km. The standard equipment list on all cars includes the LED daytime running lights, bi-xenon headlights, wood trim, eight-speaker stereo system, electric adjustable leather seats and more. The diesel is adding a stop/start system on top of other versions. Options list includes the 15-speaker Bowers and Wilkins sound system, Skyhook adjustable dampers, 21-inch wheels, aluminum paddles, metallic paint and much more.
