The Maserati Ghibli has recently leaked all over the web ahead of its public debut scheduled for the 2013 Shanghai Motor Show.
After it was spied and then teased over these past few months, the Maserati Ghibli is now being placed into the spotlights once again, this time with the help of some leaked images, which are showing the exterior design and the cabin of the model. The Maserati Ghibli is coming with a coupe-like profile, with a long hood, a reminiscent of the original model, powerful rear fenders and some other tweaks which are taking the model away from the bigger sedan, the Quattroporte.
The interior design of the Maserati Ghibli is showing the distinctive Italian touch and some elements borrowed from the Quattroporte. The model is also coming with carbon fiber, which is highlighting the sportier position in the company’s lineup. The Maserati Ghibli will go on sale later on this year and this will get a 2014 model year in its name. The model is sharing some underpinnings and engines with the Quattroporte, along with the new Q4 all-wheel drive system. The Ghibli will be officially presented to the public later on this month, during the 2013 Shanghai Motor Show. Additional details on the model remain unknown for the moment.
