The Maserati Ghibli sedan has been recently spotted while being tested in cold weather in Livigno, Italy, over the last weekend.
After starting its life as a simple rumor just a few months ago, the Maserati Ghibli is being placed into the spotlights once again, this time with the help of a few spy images which were taken in Livigno, Italy, over the weekend. The Maserati Ghibli will come as a sedan which will be slotted below the new Quattroporte generation and it will lose about 25 cm in length compared to its larger brother, even if both of the models will use the same platform.
Because of the heavy camouflage on its body, the Maserati Ghibli pictured below isn’t revealing much except for an exterior design similar to the Quattroporte, but on a smaller scale. Power to the newest model in Maserati’s lineup will be provided by a 3.0 liter V6 engine, which will produce a total output of 410 HP, mated to an eight-speed ZF automatic transmission. Unfortunately we don’t know anything more about the Maserati Ghibli but the model is expected to make its public debut sometimes this year, probably during the Geneva Motor Show or even the Frankfurt Motor Show in September.
