The first images with the Sportwagon and Coupe versions of the Maserati Ghibli have recently hit the web and they might provide us with a first look into two possible body styles of the model.
The Italian based automaker Maserati has just unveiled the Ghibli earlier this month but the model is being placed into the spotlights once again, this time with the help of some renderings. The images posted below are showing what the Maserati Ghibli Sportwagon and the Maserati Ghibli Coupe might look like, if the carmaker decides to put them into production.
As a quick reminder, the regular version of the Maserati Ghibli has been officially presented to the public during the 2013 Shanghai Motor Show. The model has a 20 cm shorter wheelbase and a 20 cm reduced overall length compared to the Quattroporte, and this is also the first model in the company’s lineup to receive a diesel unit. The Ghibli is powered by a 275 HP and 600 Nm of torque 3.0 liter turbocharged V6, and by a 330 HP and 500 Nm of torque 3.0 liter V6 twin-turbo gasoline unit. Both engines are mated to an eight-speed ZF automatic gearbox.
