Maserati GranCabrio Fendi going to Frankfurt Motor Show image

The Italian automaker Maserati will unveil a specially developed GranCabrio Fendi at the Frankfurt Motor Show in September, along with the new SUV that will proudly “wear” the trident badge.

The new GranCabrio was designed by Silvia Venturini and has a special three-layered body color with a special dark grey and iridescent golden finish, named Grigio Fiamma Fendi.

The automaker used wood trim for the interior, which runs across the dashboard, doors and gear lever, while the seats are stiched with the double F-logo.

Being a specially developed Maserati, the GranCabrio also has the iconic Fendi yellow brake calipers and it’s sitting on 19 inch Trident design alloy wheels.

According to the Italian automaker, the GranCabrio Fendi is powered by a 4.7 liter V8 engine mated to an automatic transmission, but performance figures haven’t been announced yet, Maserati saving “the best for last” with the German even coming next month.
