Maserati GranCabrio MC Stradale going to Paris Motor Show

The Italian based automaker Maserati is planning to introduce the GranCabrio MC Stradale at the upcoming 2012 Paris Motor Show on the 27th of September.

The car manufacturer has recently announced that a new model will be unveiled next week during the 2012 Paris Motor Show but until now we didn’t know what this new supercar will be. Thanks to the guys at autoedizione.com, we found out that the upcoming model to be badged by Maserati is named the GranCabrio MC Stradale and this is actually a drop top version of the current GranTurismo MC Stradale.

According to the source mentioned above, the Maserati GranCabrio MC Stradale will be a lighter, faster and more focused version of the regular GranTurismo MC Stradale. The model is expected to use the same 4.7 liter V8 engine which will produce around 450 horsepower. Modifications will be applied to the body and the Maserati GranCabrio MC Stradale will get revised front and rear bumpers, redesigned side skirts and it will also receive different suspension setups.
