Maserati GranTurismo Convertible Sovrano

DMC has just unveiled a new tuning program for the Maserati GranTurismo Convertible which is adding some interesting features to the sports car including a power boost.

After the aftermarket specialists at DMC have introduced an upgrade program for the Maserati GranTurism just a year ago, the tuning company is doing it again and says that a similar package has been developed for the Convertible. According to the guys at DMC, the Maserati GranTurismo Convertible Sovrano is now coming with side skirts with zig-zag end-panels and a hood with extra inlets and outlets, along with a new spoiler lip for the redesigned front bumper which can increase downforce.

A rear diffuser has also been added to the Maserati GranTurismo Convertible Sovrano and DMC says that all added parts have been made out of carbon fiber. The sports car is also getting a sport suspension which is lowering the ride height by 30 mm and the model is now sitting on 255/30 R20 tires in the front and 305/20 R21 at the rear. The Maserati GranTurismo Convertible Sovrano by DMC is coming with the same 4.7L V8 engine which, thanks to a new supercharger, is now producing an extra 150 HP and 82 Nm (60 lb-ft) to a total of 590 HP (440 kW) at 7,300 rpm and 472 Nm (348 lb-ft) at 5,400 rpm. No details on the pricing of these upgrades have been announced yet.
