The Italian based automaker Maserati has recently pulled the wraps off its latest creation in terms of motorsport, the GranTurismo MC GT3.
According to the car manufacturer, the Maserati GranTurismo MC GT3 has been introduced at the FIV Motorfest and the racer has already managed to win race 1 with Alessandro Pier Guidi behind the wheel at the last Superstars GT at Italian Autodromo di Vallelunga. Maserati says that the GranTurismo MC GT3 had some serious competition on the track, like the Ferrari 430, the 458 Italia, the Chevrolet Corvette, the Lamborghini Gallardo or the Porsche 911, but even so, the model managed to impose itself.
This is actually the same track which hosted the third round of the FIA European Touring Car Championship (ETCC) back in 2003, and the circuit is trying to make a comeback after eight years since the license was revoked by organizing the seventh round of the International Superstars Series (Superstars GT Pergusa) a week from now. The track is famous for its high speed layout and it has been build around a lake.
