The Italian based automaker Maserati is planning to introduce a brand new one-off vehicle, the so-called GT Concept, next week, in a world premiere, during the 2014 Geneva Motor Show.
The 2015 Geneva Motor Show is coming in pretty fast and amongst the car manufacturers which will be attending the event is Maserati. The company has already introduced some new models like the new Quattroporte generation or the Ghibli, which is the first ever car with the trident badges on its body to get a diesel engine, and it’s now ready to pull the wraps off a brand new vehicle, during the Swiss automotive event.
According to the guys at GT Spirit, the model in question will be known as the Maserati GT Concept and it will be basically offering us a preview into a final production vehicle. The sports car will hit Maserati’s lineup as an entry-level and it’s aimed towards rivals like the Porsche 911 or the Jaguar F-Type. Rumors are saying that the new Maserati GT will be taking its power from a 3.0 liter twin turbo V6 engine, which should be rated at 410 HP (310 kW), or from a 530 HP (390 kW) 3.8 liter V8. The production model is expected to be launched in 2016.
