A very rare version of the Maserati MC12 Versione Corse is currently looking for a new owner in Florida who will have to pay no less than 3m USD before getting his hands on the ride.
If you are looking for a track-only supercar and you don’t really feel the need to go for the regular ones available, than you can always turn your head to an even rarer model, like this Maserati MC12 Versione Corse. The model in question is just one out of 12 produced and while it was sold originally for around 1,000,000 euros, this particular example can be yours for no less than 2,999,990 USD. This is chassis number two and it hasn’t been modified to become street legal. It is wearing a blue shade over its body and it is instantly recognizable.
The chassis of the supercar has been based on the one of the Ferrari Enzo and its engine is actually the same one found on the FXX track-only car. We’re talking about the 6.0 liter V12 engine, capable of producing a total output of 745 HP (555 kW), meaning 123 HP more than the standard MC12. From 0 to 100 km/h it needs just 3.8 seconds and top speed stands at more than 202 mph. The Corsa is a version of the MC12 which has been intended for track use. It was developed from the MC12 GT1, which managed to win the 2005 FIA GT Manufacturers Cup and it was released back in mid-2006.
