Mastretta MXT-R going to Autosport International
A brand new Mexican sports car, named the Mastretta MXT-R, will be officially presented to the public later on this week, during the Autosport International Show.
According to the car manufacturer, the brand new Mastretta MXT-R will come with an aerodynamic body kit, highlighted by the rear wing, by the front splitter and by other tweaks, which will help the model stand out in a crowd. The company is planning to keep the model’s image as an everyday sports car so no drastic changes will be applied to it.
The Mastretta MXT-R will be powered by a 2.0 liter four-cylinder EcoBoost engine, which will produce a total output of 285 BHP (212 kW), which is more than the regular MXT, coming with the 2.0 liter four-cylinder Duratec engine, generating 250 BHP (186 kW) and 339 Nm of torque (250 lb-ft). Unfortunately we don’t have any more details for the moment on the Mastretta MXT-R and we will have to wait for the Autosport International Show to open its gates, on the 10th of January, 2013, in order to find out more about the model.
