Mazda 2 and MX-5 Black Edition revealed

Japanese car manufacturer Mazda has released Black Editions of the MX-5 and 2 models, inspired by the success of the MX-5 GT race car.

The Mazda MX-5 Black Limited Edition will be powered by a 2.0 liter engine, developing 160 PS, connected to a six-speed manual transmission. The MX-5 Sport Black has a retractable hard-top, 17-inch alloy wheels, black leather for the interior with “sand” color stitching, Piano Black steering wheel and deco panel and “Black Limited Edition” badges.
The MX-5 Sport Black will also be fitted with climate control, integrated hands-free Bluetooth, cruise control, front fog lights and a premium Bose audio system. The retractable hard-top goes up or down in just 12 seconds, according to the manufacturer.

The Mazda 2 Limited Edition will also be available with the same exterior colors as the MX-5, Spirited Green metallic, True Red and Crystal White Pearlescent. Alloy wheels are a “must” on every limited edition and the “2” model has 16-inch alloys, along with fog lights, privacy glass and a rear bumper sports trim.

As well as its sportier “brother”, the Mazda 2 comes with climate control air-conditioning, a Bluetooth hands-free system and “Black Limited Edition” badges.

Only 500 units of the MX-5 Black Limited Edition will be manufactured and customers will have to spend 22.995 pounds before they can get their hands on one. On the other hand, 618 units of the Mazda 2 Black Edition will be available, with a 12.815 pounds price.
