A rendering with the Mazda CX-3 MPS is previewing a possible range-topping version of the model.
The brand new Mazda CX-3, which has been officially presented to the public during the 2014 Los Angeles Auto Show, is being highlighted once again, in a new possible range-topping version. The model pictured below exists in the virtual world, at the moment, but chances are Mazda will put it in production, in a couple of years. If this will indeed get the green lights, than it will go up against models like the Nissan Juke Nismo or the upcoming Fiat 500X Abarth.
The Mazda CX-3 is a B-segment crossover. The model has the KODO design language and a cabin which has carried over from the Mazda2, with gloss black accents, metallic trim around the circular air vents, the Mazda Connect infotainment system, head-up display and so on. The engine lineup includes the 2.0 liter SKYACTIV-G petrol burner, over-seas, connected to the SKYACTIV-Drive automatic transmission. Across the Old Continent, the 2.0 liter SKYACTIV-G will be added, along with the new 1.5L SKYACTIV-D. AWD will come as standard. More details on the model, including its price list, are unknown at the moment.
