Mazda has recently announced the official price of the MX-5 25th Anniversary in Australia, where the cheapest version of the model will be coming in at 48,380 AUD.
The Japanese based automaker Mazda is getting ready to say farewell to the current generation of the MX-5 as a replacement of the popular roadster will be introduced over the next following months, and what better way to say goodbye to the model than by introducing a new special edition. The vehicle has been called the Mazda MX-5 25th Anniversary and it will be sold in just 1,000 units globally, out of which 40 will be making their way to Australia.
From these 40 vehicles, 13 have been already reserved and 24 are fitted with the six-speed manual transmission. These have been priced at 48,380 AUD while the rest of them, coming with the 6-speed automatic, will be setting you back for 49,990 AUD. Power is coming from a 118 kW and 188 Nm 2.0 liter naturally aspirated four-cylinder engine. Each model has the Soul Red metallic paint, black highlights, white leather seat and door trims, and much more, which should make MX-5 enthusiasts go bananas.
