Mazda MX-5 Accessories Design Concept announced for Chicago image

Mazda has officially announced its plans to pull the wraps off the MX-5 Accessories Design Concept this week, during the 2015 Chicago Auto Show, in a premiere.

The Japanese based automaker Mazda is not looking forward to the 2015 SEMA Motor Show this autumn because it has decided to introduce the so-called MX-5 Accessories Design Concept at the 2015 Chicago Auto Show, which will be opening its gates this week.

“This year at the Chicago Auto Show, Mazda will reveal a 2016 MX-5 accessories design concept of the company’s iconic roadster, which will preview what may be in store for those looking to personalize their cars. Also being shown for the first time will be MX-5 merchandise design concepts from Mazda’s upcoming Heritage Collection — three apparel collections inspired by key themes of Mazda’s past, present and future”, said the car manufacturer in its official press release.

The 2016 Mazda MX-5 Accessories Design Concept is bringing a trunk mounted small spoiler, a double exhaust tip, some BBS alloy wheels finished in black and an appealing white shade for the body. The whole rear end of the popular roadster looks pretty similar to that of the drop-top made by Jaguar, but that isn’t necessarily a bad thing. No more details on this one-off vehicle are known at the moment. The brand new Mazda MX-5 is believed to go on sale in the third or the fourth quarter of this year in the United States, but no official date has been announced yet.
