Mazda MX-5 going to Goodwood Festival of Speed image

The new generation of the Mazda MX-5 will be making its debut in the United Kingdom at the 2015 Goodwood Festival of Speed.

One of the most popular roadsters the world has ever seen, the Mazda MX-5, has received a new generation and now the model in question is getting ready to be making its debut in the United Kingdom. This will be happening at the 2015 Goodwood Festival of Speed, as the company has recently announced.

So there’s no better place to showcase the all-new Mazda MX-5 than in front of the enthusiastic crowd at the Goodwood Festival of Speed”, said the Mazda Motors UK managing director, Jeremy Thomson.

The 2016 Mazda MX-5 has a starting price of 24,950 USD, undercutting the Toyota GT86 for several thousands. The model will be offered with features such as the LED headlights, leather wrapped gear knob, power door locks, Bluetooth connectivity, USB input and several other goodies. Power is being provided in the United States exclusively by the 2.0 liter SKYACTIV engine, rated at 155 HP (115 kW) And 200 Nm (148 lb-ft) of torque.
