Mazda is planning to put the MX-5 GT Concept in production and the model should receive some interesting items, compared to the outgoing version.
The Japanese based automaker Mazda has some big plans for its future models and one of these plans includes the production of the MX-5 GT Concept. The announcement hasn’t been made officially just yet but according to the guys at Auto Express, the model in question will indeed hit the production line. The new Mazda MX-5 GT Concept should receive some interesting modifications and a final price which is expected to stand at less than 30,000 GBP.
The 2015 Mazda MX-5 GT will receive a revised styling, in order to match the concept car, a sport tuned suspension system, a sports exhaust system and an optimized ECU, amongst others. The 2.0 liter four-cylinder unit found under its hood is believed to produce 203 HP (151 kW). Additional details on the final production version of the Mazda MX-5 GT are limited for the moment and will probably be officially unveiled sometimes next month. The Mazda MX-5 GT Concept has made its public debut last year, during the Goodwood Festival of Speed.
