Jota Sport has recently pulled the wraps off its latest creation, a track ready race car named the Mazda MX-5 GT4, which is available to buy for 150,000 GBP.
According to Jota Sport, the Mazda MX-5 GT4 is a track ready race car and this model cannot be driven on the road. The UK company says that the Mazda MX-5 GT4 is powered b the regular version of the four-cylinder turbocharged engine which is now developing more than double the standard 158 found on the stock car. The unit is now mated to a six-speed sequential transmission with paddle shifters.
The UK company is also saying that the race car is coming with adjustable traction control and a racing clutch, along with AP Racing brakes, carbon fiber doors, front and rear diffuser, rear wing, polycarbonate for the stock glass window and carbon fiber on the dashboard. The Mazda MX-5 GT4 by Jota Sport is now weighing just 1,000 kg (2,204 lb), which is 175 kg (385 lb) less than the standard version of the roadster, which is enough to help it accelerate from 0 to 62 mph in just 3 seconds, before reaching a top speed of 160 mph (257 km/h).
