Mazda has officially announced its plans to introduce the MX-5 in two versions, the Spyder and the Speedster, at the 2015 SEMA Motor Show, next week.
The new generation of the Mazda MX-5 has proved to be a popular ride choice, just like its predecessor, but the model is getting ready to become even more desirable as the automaker is getting ready for the 2015 SEMA with two one-off versions of the roadster, the Spyder and the Speedster. According to the car manufacturer, the two concept variants of the popular MX-5 will be different than the production model.
The new Mazda MX-5 Spider is paying tribute to vintage roadsters and it’s adding the modern-day design. This is coming with the Mercury Silver exterior finish and with a bespoke leather interior. That’s about all Mazda has to say about this particular example of the MX-5, but this will be joined by the Speedster as well, which is also paying homage to the minimalist roadsters of the 1950s. This will have the Blue Ether exterior finish, a front deflector replacing the windscreen and several aftermarket components made by H&R Springs, Delta Seat, KW Suspensions, Lusch, AC&A Manufacturing, Long Road Racing, Franks Fab Shop and so on. Additional details on the two one-off versions of the Mazda MX-5 are limited for the moment and will be announced next week, during the automotive event.
