The Japanese based automaker Mazda has released a first teaser image with a new sports car concept which will be debuting at the 2015 Tokyo Motor Show.
With the 2015th edition of the Tokyo Motor Show coming in pretty fast, most Japanese based carmaker companies, and not only, are preparing for the event and Mazda is not making an exception from this rule either. The automaker has released the first ever teaser image with a sports car concept which will be officially unveiled during the Japanese automotive event.
The image posted above is showing us a vehicle with a long hood, with a short rear end, a sloping roofline and a two-door body style. What is also visible is the dual exhaust system, while the side mirrors have been replaced by rearview cameras. The distinctive taillights are also worth mentioning in this scheme but what this vehicle might actually be remains unknown to us at the moment.
However, there are two chances, that of a new Wankel engine to debut under its hood or that of a Mazda MX-5 Coupe, with a slightly different exterior design considering the fact that this is nothing more than a simple concept at this point. Whatever it will be, we will actually have to wait for it to debut at the 2015 Tokyo Motor Show in order to find out more about it. You can take a closer look at the new sports car concept made by Mazda in the image posted above.
