The Japanese based automaker Mazda has recently released a new teaser image with the upcoming generation of the MX-5, which is believed to be unveiled over the next few weeks.
Mazda is playing by the book and in between creating new special editions of the MX-5 and testing its new generation, it is also teasing the popular roadster, which is expected to be even hotter than the original one. The 2015 Mazda MX-5 is now ending up in our news once again, this time with the help of a new teaser image, which is showing the replacement of the popular roadster under some wraps and we can slightly see some of its lines.
If you are a fan of Mazda’s Kodo design language, which is seen on newer models such as the Mazda3 or the Mazda6, you should know that the new generation of the MX-5 will also adopt this, along with the brand new SKYACTIV-CHASSIS, which is believed to shed approximately 100 kg from the weight of the current version. The engine is said to be moved closer to the center of the vehicle for a better balance and a lower center of gravity and performance will be increased. More details on the 2015 Mazda MX-5 are limited for the moment.
