Three new images with the Mazda2 are showing the model in yet another body style, that of a Coupe.
Mazda has officially pulled the wraps off the new generation of the Mazda2 just earlier this year and this autumn, the company has introduced it in a new body style, the Mazda2 Sedan. The obvious path for the model should be an Estate, based on it, but the images posted below are offering us a preview on how this may look like as a Coupe. Keep in mind that these are renderings and chances of seeing it on the roads anytime soon are close to zero.
The brand new Mazda2 has the KODO design language and, just as expected, it is similar to its larger brother, the Mazda6, in the sedan body style at least, and we can only be happy because this is still one of the best looking cars in its segment. The Mazda2 Sedan, shown recently, will be going on sale in Thailand, in 2015, and rumor has it that it will be eventually introduced in Australia and even in Europe. The engine lineup will be including a single unit, at first, the 1.5 liter SKYACTIV-D, with 105 HP (77 kW) and 220 Nm (162 lb-ft) of torque.
