A few renderings with a new body style of the Mazda2 are showing us how the model may look like as a wagon.
The Japanese based automaker Mazda has officially pulled the wraps off the newest generation of the Mazda2 just earlier this year and a few days back we have met its second body style, the Mazda2 Sedan. Considering the fact that the carmaker is expanding the versions of the new Mazda2, that of a wagon, but chances are the vehicle pictured below will not see daylight anytime soon.
The Mazda2 is looking, in terms of design, similar to the Mazda6, in the sedan body style of the moment, and this is a good thing, considering the fact that its larger brother is one of the best looking cars in the segment. The subcompact sedan introduced recently will go on sale in Thailand, in early next year, but chances are it will be offered eventually in Australia and even on the Old Continent. As far as the engine goes, this will be powered, at first, by a 105 HP (77 kW) and 220 Nm (162 lb-ft) of torque 1.5 liter SKYACTIV-D unit.
