The aftermarket specialists at MR Car Design have recently pulled the wraps off their latest creation, a tuning program made for the Mazda3 MPS.
According to the tuning company, the Mazda3 MPS is now getting a cat-back exhaust system, a downpipe with or without a catalytic convertor, a Forge Intercooler including all turbo hoses, a KW coil-over suspension system, a fresh set of 14-inch alloy wheels and more, which will help the Japanese hatchback stand out in a crowd.
The Mazda3 MPS by MR Car Design is getting a 2.3 liter turbo engine under its hood, which is producing a total output of 260 horsepower (191 kW) and it has a peak torque of 380 Nm (280 lb-ft) available at 3,000 rpm, but after a reworked software, the unit is producing 310 HP (231 kW). MR Car Design says that the 50 HP (37 kW) increase in power is available for 699 euros.
“The series engine with 2.3 liters of displacement plus turbo support comes up with 191 kW or 260 hp and a maximum torque of 380 Nm at 3,000 r / min. The crew around Marcel Reil gave the engine of the testmachine, which is shown here, by performance via software strength of 310 untamed horses, for which 699 euros will be charged”, as the tuner is saying in its official press release.
