The first renderings with the wagon version of the new Mazda3 generation have recently hit the web and they might provide us with a first look into a future body style of the model.
The new generation of the Mazda3 has been officially unveiled just a couple of months ago, in its two versions, sedan and five-door hatchback, and it seems that the Japanese based automaker is planning to introduce a third body style of the model, the wagon. The announcement hasn’t been made official just yet but now, thanks to Theophilus Chin, we can get a glimpse on how the future Mazda3 Wagon may look like.
The 2014 Mazda3, in its hatchback body style, is 175.6 inches long, 70.7 inches wide and 57.3 inches tall, with a 106.3 inches long platform. The engine lineup found on the model include two petrol units, in the United States, a 2.0 liter SKYACTIV-G, producing 155 HP (115 kW) and 150 lb-ft (203 Nm) of torque, along with a 2.5 liter SKYACTIV-G, generating 184 HP (137 kW) and 185 lb-ft (250 Nm) of torque. The cabin of the new Mazda3 generation is now getting higher quality materials, piano black accents, comfortable seats, new instrument cluster, new infotainment system and some other tweaks.
