McLaren has released new details on the impressive 12C GT Sprint, which is currently available for order starting at 195, 000 GBP.

The McLaren 12C GT Sprint is ending up in our news once again, a few months after making its debut at the 2013 Goodwood Festival of Speed, this time with the British based automaker releasing some new details on the supercar, along with its official starting price. The McLaren 12C GT Sprint can easily stand out from a crowd, thanks to its aggressive front bumper, GT3 inspired hood, center locking 19-inch wheels wrapped in competition tires and some other tweaks.

The vehicle in question is also getting a 40 mm reduced ride height, a high performance braking system, a central cooling radiator, recalibrated Proactive Chassis Control system, optimize oiling system, on-board air jacking system and more. The cabin of the McLaren 12C GT Sprint has been stripped out and it now includes a racing seat with a six-point harness, a FIA-spec roll cage, a fire suppression system, air conditioning and a digital dash.

As you probably already know by now, the McLaren 12C GT Sprint is developed exclusively for track use, getting a 3.8 liter twin-turbo V8 engine under its hood, which is good for 625 HP (460 kW). The unit is mated to a 7-speed dual clutch transmission. Prices for the McLaren 12C GT Sprint start at 195,000 GBP (233,550 EUR).
