The aftermarket specialists at DMC Tuning have recently released a teaser image with an upgrade package for the McLaren 12C Spider.
After enlightening us with modified Lamborghini Aventadords and with even with the first ever tuning kit for the brand new Ferrari F12 Berlinetta, the aftermarket specialists at DMC Tuning are now getting ready to unveil an updated McLaren 12C Spider. The first teaser image with the modified British supercar signed by DMC has already been released and it’s showing part of the model’s front fascia, which is now getting some carbon fiber body parts.
The McLaren 12C Spider is the drop top version of the MP4-12C and it’s coming with the same 3.8 liter twin turbo engine as the Coupe. The total output produced by the unit, in the standard vehicle, stands at 625 PS, which are being sent to the rear-wheel drive through a seven-speed SSG dual clutch transmission. This is enough to allow the supercar to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.1 seconds and the quarter mile is done in 10.8 seconds, at a top speed of 216 km/h (134 mph). The average fuel consumption stands at 11.7 liters / 100 km and the CO2 emissions stop at 270 g/km.
