Neiman Marcus has recently announced that the McLaren 12C Spider is in the annual Christmas Book and the model will cost 354,000 USD.
After selling some Ferrari FF models last year in just 50 minutes, Neiman Marcus is now taking on the new McLaren 12C Spider in this 2012 Christmas Book, but, just like every other supercar out there, the model won’t be cheap and its future owners will have to pay 354,000 USD before they will be able to get their hands on one. Buyers will also receive a business class trip to England for a tour of the McLaren Technology Center and a VIP dinner with Ron Dennis, the company’s chairman. Only 12 units of the 12C Spider will be available in the annual Christmas Book and they will be dressed in Volcano Red.
The McLaren 12C Spider, the roadster version of the MP4-12C, is powered by the same engine as its hard-top brother, the 3.8 liter twin turbo V6, which is developing a total output of 616 horsepower (625 PS / 460 kW), mated to a seven-speed dual clutch SSG transmission. The 12C can accelerate from 0 to 62 mph in just 3.1 seconds, the same as the MP4-12C, before reaching a top speed of 204 mph. the British supercar will start its deliveries in early 2013, worldwide.
