McLaren has recently pulled the wraps off its latest creation, the 50 12C Limited Edition, which is a special anniversary model created for Hong Kong.
The McLaren 50 12C Limited Edition has been created in order to commemorate the five decades of race-winning expertise and technology of the carmaker and it has been made by McLaren Automotive along with McLaren Special Operations (MSO).
The model in question will be offered in just 50 units and it has received an orange paint finish for its exterior design, an optimized front bumper, inspired from the HS Edition, special carbon fiber, race derived carbon Kevlar front floor highlight with black F1 inspired heritage badge on its bonnet, 50 Ultra Lightweight wheels, finished in Satin Black, carbon ceramic brakes and much more.
The cabin of the McLaren 50 12C Limited Edition hasn’t been left aside either and this is now coming with a full leather upgrade, with carbon fiber sill panel and floor mats, with an anniversary plate on the driver’s door and with others.
“Today is a very special occasion that we present the limited McLaren 50 12C. This is always impressed by a masterpiece produced from the McLaren Special Operations, especially when it is designed to commemorate the heritage and achievements of McLaren in the past five decades”, said Max Cheng, the McLaren Hong Kong general manager.
We’re not sure of the McLaren 50 12C Limited Edition has received any power upgrades but considering the fact that the British based automaker didn’t say anything about this, chances are that the 3.8L unit is still producing the same output. Prices for the McLaren 50 12C Limited Edition stand at 440,000 euros.
