The McLaren 570GT by MSO Concept is the product of McLaren’s decision to get involved with fashion designer Jean-Paul Gaultier for the upcoming Chantilly Arts & Elegance Richard Mille.
McLaren’s MSO customization unit is there to deliver the necessary unique feeling for any McLaren model, and the division has been tasked to bring it’s A game in order to deliver a more luxurious 570GT in time for the Chantilly Arts and Elegance Richard Mille. The event sees automakers working alongside fashion designers, and the new creation will have to live up to the reputation of Jean-Paul Gaultier. The 570GT has been instilled with more luxury than any other McLaren supercar, and the MSO customization unit will take that a step above the scale. The exterior is adorned with a lovely Pacific Blue paint with a slight green tint to match the ocean-inspired name. The side skirts, door inserts, and trim around the front and rear have been finished in high-gloss black.
The posh event is the perfect venue for the bespoke 570GT and the interior is the ultimate proof – the carbon fiber elements for example have ditched the usual satin finish for a shiny lacquer – with the polished look present on other elements as well throughout the cockpit. The supercar’s biturbo V8 has a titanium exhaust- 30 percent lighter. The golden titanium nitride tint heat shields will also have a blue and purple color as the parts heat up.
