The McLaren 570S has recently made its debut on the West Coast, in the United States, as it is currently on display at McLaren Newport Beach.
The first addition to the new Sports Series signed by McLaren is called the 570S and this is being highlighted once again, this time with its West Coast debut being made, in the United States, at the McLaren Newport Beach. The model in question has been presented in an event and it was wearing a bright orange shade. Needless to say that it attracted all the attention and that it will become quite a success over-seas.
McLaren has officially presented the 570S at the 2015 New York Auto Show. The model is a smaller, lighter, cheaper and less powerful version of the 650S and it will go up against rivals such as the Jaguar F-Type, the Porsche 911 or the Mercedes-AMG GT. Some of the features of the sports car include the 19- and 20-inch front to rear wheels, the carbon ceramic brakes, the new front and rear suspension system with adaptive dampers and more.
The most important part of the McLaren 570S is found under its hood where the familiar 3.8 liter twin turbo V8 engine is resting. This is capable of producing a total output of 570 HP (419 kW) at 7,400 rpm and 600 Nm (443 lb-ft), at 5,000 – 6,500 rpm. Power is sent to the RWD through a 7-speed SSG transmission. From 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph), the sports car needs 3.2s and top speed is 328 km/h (204 mph).
