McLaren has released yet another teaser image with the 570S which will be officially presented to the public, in a premiere, next week, during the 2015 New York Auto Show.
The McLaren 570S is being placed into the spotlights once again, this time with the help of yet another teaser image, which has been released by the company. The new photo is partially revealing its sloping roofline, C-pillar and what seem to be missing regular door handles. The vehicle will probably be unveiled over the web a day or two before its public debut at the 2015 New York Auto Show, on the 1st of April, and its full details will be released then.
McLaren will be producing the 570S as a rival for the Porsche 911 and the Jaguar F-Type and this will get the carbon fiber monocoque which is used on its larger brothers, the 650S and the P1, but it will be lighter, smaller and less powerful. Power will be provided by the familiar 3.8 liter twin turbo V8 engine, which is going to produce a total output of 570 HP (419 kW), which will be sent to the rear-wheel drive. In terms of looks, the new 570S will be similar to the 650S. Close to the end of the year, the carmaker is believed to introduce the 570S Spider too, along with a long tail version, but these remains to be confirmed. More details on the sports car are limited at this time.
