McLaren 650S configurator launched

McLaren has recently launched the online configurator for the recently unveiled 650S, in its two body styles.

Good news for those of you who were looking into the recently unveiled McLaren 650S and 650S Spider because you now have the chance of configuring your very own supercar, as the British based automaker has recently launched the online configurator. The two supercars are available with 18 colors, for each, including the Tarocco Orange, along with the choosing of the steel or ceramic brakes, of the brake caliper color, of the body panels finished in bare carbon fiber, of the wheels and so on.

The McLaren 650S has been officially presented to the public during the 2014 Geneva Motor Show, in a world premiere, last week. The model in question is coming with the same 3.8 liter twin turbocharged V8 engine, which is derived from the MP4-12C. The unit is producing a total output of 651 HP (478 kW) and 678 Nm (500 lb-ft) of torque, which is enough for a 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) sprint made in just 3.0 seconds. The supercar can also accelerate from 0 to 200 km/h (124 mph) in 8.6 seconds and it can reach a top speed of 328 km/h (204 mph).
