McLaren has recently announced the official starting price of the recently unveiled 650S in the United States, where the cheapest version of the model will set you back for 265,500 USD.
The McLaren 650S will be making its U.S. debut this month, during the 2014 New York Auto Show, and just ahead of the event, the carmaker has announced the official starting price for the new supercar. According to the British based automaker, the 650S Coupe will be priced from 265,500 USD, while for the 650S Spider, its future customers will have to pay 280,225 USD before being able to drive their new rides home.
McLaren has officially unveiled the 650S, in its both body styles, last month, during the 2014 Geneva Motor Show. The two models have received a front fascia similar to the one of the P1 hybrid supercar and a rear end which resembles the MP4-12C. The 3.8 liter twin turbo V8 engine is found under its hood, the same one found on every McLaren which is currently in production. On the 650S, the total output produced stands at 651 HP (478 kW) and 678 Nm (500 lb-ft) of torque. The 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) sprint is made in 3.0 seconds and top speed stands at 330 km/h (206 mph).
