McLaren has officially pulled the wraps off the 2015 650S Limited Edition which is coming with some unique changes compared to the standard supercar.
The McLaren 650S Limited Edition has been recently introduced. The model has been designed to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the McLaren F1 GTR, which has won the 24 Hours of Le Mans. The supercar is inspired by the iconic racer and it is coming with the roof snorkel and the louvered fender vents at the front. This has also received the carbon fiber clad side blades, the prominent carbon fiber front splitter, the carbon fiber rear bumper, carbon fiber diffuser and so on.
McLaren has added the orange brake calipers to the supercar, along with the limited edition MSO forged alloy wheels and the unique shade of dark blue, signed by the same McLaren Special Operations. The 650S Limited Edition remains unchanged mechanically as the 3.8 liter twin turbo V8 engine is still found under its hood. This is producing a total output of 650 HP (478 kW) and it has a peak torque of 678 Nm (500 lb-ft), with 95 percent available between 3,000 and 7,000 rpm. Only 50 units of the supercar will be produced and all of them will be coupes.
