The alleged price of the recently unveiled McLaren 650S has recently leaked, ahead of the model’s public debut scheduled for the 2014 Geneva Motor Show, next month.
The McLaren 650S may have been recently unveiled but that isn’t stopping rumors to come out, and one of these rumors is currently saying that the newest supercar in the British based automaker’s lineup will cost approximately 318,000 USD, once the model will be hitting the market. This is translated into 232,500 euros and to this, taxes will probably be added. If you would like a carbon fiber package, get ready to pay more than 10,000 euros, and for the Alcantara and leather interior, over 6,000 euros.
The new McLaren 650S is looking like the on its front fascia, while the rear end is similar to the one used on the MP4-12C. Power is being provided by a 3.8 liter twin turbo V8 engine, which is developing a total output of 650 HP (478 kW). The 650S name is coming from its power, 650 HP, and the “S” stands for “Sport”. It’s not clear for the moment whether this new supercar will replace the MP4-12C or if it will slot between it and the P1 hybrid supercar. The official presentation of the 650S will take place in Geneva.
