The very first rendering with the brand new McLaren 650S, in a convertible body style, has recently hit the web, and it will provide us with a first look into the final body style of the model.
McLaren has officially pulled the wraps off the brand new 650S just a day ago, but that didn’t stop rendering artists into having a blast with the model and so its second body style came to life, in the virtual world for the moment. We’re talking about the so-called McLaren 650S Spider and the one responsible for this impressive rendering can be found at X-Tomi Design.
The McLaren 650S is rumored to be either a new supercar, which will slot between the MP4-12C and the P1, or even a replacement for the current MP4-12C. The supercar is getting a 3.8 liter twin turbo V8 engine under its hood, which is producing 650 HP (478 kW). Its name is coming from its output and the “S” stands for “Sport”, as McLaren is explaining. More details on it will be announced in early March, during the 2014 Geneva Motor Show, when it will be officially unveiled. Meanwhile, you can check it out in the photo gallery posted below.
