McLaren has reportedly confirmed that the newest supercar in its lineup, the 675LT, has been completely sold out, in its 500 examples.
It may have been officially presented to the public a couple of months ago, during the 2015 Geneva Motor Show, but that didn’t stop it to sell all of its units. We’re talking about the newest supercar in McLaren’s lineup, the 675LT, which, according to a recent report, has been completely sold out. The announcement has been confirmed to Autoblog by Wayne Bruce, a spokesman within the company, who said that the entire batch of 500 examples have managed to find new owners. There you have it, if you are still looking for such a model, you should turn your head to the second-hand market, in a few months.
McLaren has introduced the 675LT back in March, during the Swiss automotive event and this is basically a tribute for the legendary F1. The model is sitting above the Sports Series and just over the 650S. It is coming with colors such as the Chicane Grey, the Delta Red, the Napier Green and the Silica White and it is offering its customers the choice of customizing some of the exterior components, like the side mirror casings and door latches. It has the ultra lightweight forged and super lightweight forged wheel options, Alcantara in the cabin, a touch screen infotainment which has incorporated the air conditioning controls, carbon fiber shelled bucket seats and more. Power is provided by the 3.8 liter twin turbo V8 engine rated at 675 HP and 700 Nm of torque.
