The range-topping model in the Super Series made by McLaren, the 675LT, has reached the sold out status.
If you still have your eyes on a McLaren 675LT and you couldn’t get one until now, you’re better off searching for one on the second hand market because the supercar has been completely sold out. According to the car manufacturer, all 500 units of the 675LT have managed to find new owners.
“The McLaren 675LT, which debuted in production form at the 2015 Geneva Motor Show, is the lightest, most powerful, fastest and most track-focused, yet road legal, model in the McLaren Super Series, and resurrects one of the most revered names in modern-day GT racing – the ‘Longtail’. It is also the most exclusive in the range, with confirmation that 500 coupés will be produced, all of which are now sold”, said the carmaker in its official press release.
McLaren has introduced the new 675LT back in March, during the 2015 Geneva Motor Show, and this has been based on the 650S, coming with a Long Tail exterior which is adding 40 percent more downforce and it is also paying tribute to its iconic predecessor, the F1. The supercar is 100 kg lighter than the 650S and it has a 3.8 liter twin turbo V8 engine under its hood, the same one used across the McLaren range. Under the hood of the 675LT, this is capable of producing a total of 666 HP (490 kW) and 700 Nm (516 lb-ft) of torque, enough for a 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) acceleration made in 2.9 seconds and a top speed of 330 km/h (205 mph).
