McLaren 675LT officially unveiled image

The newest addition to the McLaren supercar lineup is called the 675LT and it has been unveiled recently ahead of its public debut which will take place in Geneva, next Tuesday.

The brand new McLaren 675LT has been officially unveiled over the web but it will be bringing its long tail body, which is reminding us of the F1 GTR Long Tail from 1997, to the 2015 Geneva Motor Show, on the 3rd of March. The carmaker says that this will become available with four new exterior colors which include the Silica White, the Napier Green, the Delta Red and the Chicane Grey and, besides this, we can also find the carbon fiber shelled bucket seats which have been covered in Alcantara and have the 675LT logo on the headrests.

The new supercar has also received 675LT logo on the rev counter while the air conditioning controls are now incorporated into the touch screen infotainment system. The vehicle is also lighter, by 100 kg, compared to the 650S Coupe, having a dry weight of 1,230 kg. Power is being provided by the same 3.8 liter twin turbo V8 engine, which is rated at 675 HP and 700 Nm of torque, 25 HP and 22 Nm more than the 650S. From 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph), the sprint takes 2.9 seconds, 0.1s faster, and from 0 to 200 km/h (124 mph), the model needs 7.9s, 0.5s less. Top speed has increased by 3 km/h (2 mph) to 330 km/h (205 mph).
