The British manufacturer is going to exhibit their latest model, the 570GT, at the London Motor Show next month and they also announced the pricing details for the upscale supercar.
McLaren is celebrating the official British public debut in May at the London Motor Show and also announced prices will kick off at 154,000 British pounds. First showcased during March’s Geneva Motor Show, the 570Gt is the latest installment in the automaker’s Sport Series range and has been described as the brand’s “most luxurious and refined” model so far. The design is not too far from the regular 570S and the GT will be differentiated mainly thanks to the side-opening glass rear hatch that enables the use of a leather-lined “Touring Deck” with 7.7 cubic feet of storage. More highlights can be counted – there’s a panoramic glass roof, a bigger rear spoiler, and bespoke Pirelli P Zero rubber that have been altered to enable a more comfortable ride.
Inside the cockpit there’s a digital instrument cluster and premium leather upholstery. The luxury amenities are completed via the eight-way power sport seats, dual zone climate control system, eight-speaker audio system, and infotainment system. Motivation is delivered via the biturbo 3.8-liter V8 engine providing 570 horsepower and 443 pound-feet of torque. Linked to a seven-speed seamless-shift transmission the supercar will sprint to 62 mph (100 km/h) in 3.4 seconds and reach a maximum speed of 204 mph. First deliveries in the UK are scheduled for July and prices go from £154,000.
