The British based automaker McLaren has released a first teased with a concept car which will be officially presented to the public later on this month during the 2012 Paris Motor Show.
Rumors are saying that the concept car in question teased by McLaren in the image posted above is actually the so-called P12, the successor of the McLaren F1, but the British based automaker isn’t saying anything on this subject. Details on the concept car in question are limited for the moment and from the image released by McLaren we can see an aerodynamic design and what seem to be bulging fenders.
“The next exciting chapter for McLaren Automotive will begin in Paris later this month, when the British sportscar company makes its international motor show debut. McLaren Automotive will use this stage to showcase future plans, and unveil to the world its strategy to fast forward the world of automotive at a press conference commencing at 17.45 CEST (16.45 BST), on Thursday 27 September”, as the automaker is saying in its official press release.
The McLaren P12 Concept car is expected to use the same engine from the MP4-12C supercar, the 3.8 liter V8 twin turbo, which will be tweaked and will add an extra 120 HP. Unfortunately we don’t have any more details on the McLaren concept car and we must wait for the Paris Motor Show, which will officially open its gates for the media on the 27th of September.
