The British exotic venue has officially opened the order books for their newest revelation – the 720S, which can even be had with “mundane” trim levels.
If you can fulfill your motoring dreams and currently looking for a new supercar for your garage, look no further than McLaren’s online configurator for the 720S, which just premiered officially in front of the worldwide audience of the Geneva Motor Show. The company’s new microsite lets you virtually view and explore the 720S, and of course tailor an example to your exact specifications. The standard trim levels include the… standard, Performance, and Luxury, but McLaren also offers no less than 34 exterior colors and several interior themes, alongside option packs and individual specifications.
More importantly, we also caught word from the rumor mill that McLaren has gone back to work on a new iteration of the newly revealed 720S. Apparently the Brits have confirmed they kicked off development of the LT, or Long Tail, version – which could arrive with more power, an enhanced chassis and more. “The 675LT was a huge success,” commented CEO Mike Flewitt. “We’ll certainly repeat Long Tail, and now that the LT brand is established, if we announce an LT derivative of a car, then everyone will know what to expect.”
