McLaren MP4-12C by Hamann revealed image

The German aftermarket specialists at Hamann have revealed their latest creation, an upgrade package for the McLaren MP4-12C.

According to the German tuner, the McLaren MP4-12C’s special package is adding an unusual front bumper with integrated LED lights, a striking airscoop on the roof and a redesigned hood, along with the three-way exhaust pipe, a large wing, red decals and 21-inch alloy wheels, covering the yellow brake calipers. Even if the McLaren MP4-12C modified by Hamann has been officially revealed, the tuner is keeping its performance specs a secret for the moment and we don’t even know the price for the upgrade package for the moment.

As a quick reminder, the 2012 McLaren MP4-12C is powered by a 3.8 liter twin-turbo V8 engine which is generating a total output of 592 horsepower at 7.000 rpm and it has a peak torque of 443 lb-ft available between 3.000 and 7.000 rpm. The engine is allowing the supercar to accelerate from 0 to 62 mph in just 3.3 seconds, before stopping at its 205 mph top speed. McLaren actually says that the Corsa tire option cuts down 0.2 seconds from the 0 to 62 mph acceleration time. The MP4-12C can do a quarter mile in 10.9 seconds at 134 mph.
