A McLaren MP4-12C supercar has been recently crashed on a track in China, after its driver lost control of the wheel while trying to corner.
Where ever there will be exotic cars there will also be exotic car crashes, this is what we have always said here on inautonews.com and the latest example of such an unfortunate incident is coming all the way from China, where a McLaren MP4-12C has definitely seen better days. According to Wrecked Exotics, the British supercar in question has been crashed on the track, after its driver tried to corner too quickly. Happily no one was injured, which is more than we can say about the supercar. The incident took place in ZhuHai, China.
As a quick reminder, the McLaren MP4-12C is taking its power from a 3.8 liter twin-turbo V8 engine, also used on the 12C Spider and on the brand new P1 hybrid hypercar, but under a different setup. The unit is producing a total output of 592 HP at 7,000 rpm and 443 lb-ft of torque, available between 3,000 and 7,000 rpm. The 0 to 62 mph sprint in the supercar takes just 3.3 seconds and top speed stands at 205 mph. McLaren says that the Corsa tire options can cut down 0.2 seconds from the 0 to 62 mph sprint.
