A McLaren MP4-12C supercar has been slightly modified by its owner to celebrate this year’s Halloween.
One of America’s favorite holidays is the Halloween and we are all used to seeing children in fancy or simple costumes going “trick or treat” but for some supercar enthusiasts, the holiday means dressing up their rides and going for a spin in them. The most recent example is coming all the way from the United States, where the main star is a McLaren MP4-12C. The British supercar has been dressed in Orange and it has received a nose, a set of teeth and some eyebrows. I’m curious to see what children will think of this four-wheeled pumpkin.
The McLaren MP4-12C is rivaling the Ferrari 458 Italia and the Lamborghini Aventador and it’s a rear-mid engined, rear-wheel drive supercar, which is taking its power from a 3.8 liter twin turbo V8 engine, which is also used in the 12C Spider and in the new P1 hybrid, with some modifications. McLaren says that the unit is good for 592 HP at 7,000 rpm and 443 lb-ft of torque, which is available between 3,000 and 7,000 rpm. The 0 to 62 mph acceleration takes 3.3 seconds and top speed stands at 205 mph.
