McLaren has recently appointed Mike Flewitt as its new CEO.
Mike Flewitt has become the head of McLaren, a role taken in addition to that of chief operating officer since Anthony Sheriff, the company’s managing director, went on leave several months ago. Even if Flewitt has been recently appointed, the company also stressed that Sgeriff has not departed yet and that he remains on leave from McLaren.
Flewitt joined McLaren in 2012, and before than he served as vice-president of manufacturing for Ford of Europe and later as corporate officer for Ford. Before joining Ford, Flewitt has also worked for AutoNova AB, TWR Group Limited and Rolls-Royce and Bentley Motor Cars Limited.
