A chrome silver finished McLaren P1 has been recently caught on the streets of London.
McLaren Special Operations has put together some pretty interesting versions of the McLaren P1 over these past two years but it seems that we might have found the wackiest of all. This particular example of the British supercar is wearing a chrome silver finish on its body and it has been recently spotted in London. The model is using the orange accents too, along with the carbon fiber front splitter and rear diffuser and we have to admit that it doesn’t look half bad. Chances are sheiks will hate it because it’s not shiny enough.
The McLaren P1 has been officially unveiled at the 2012 Paris Motor Show, in its concept form, and six months later, in Geneva, 2013, the final production version of the hypercar was introduced. This is coming with a two-door body style, with a rear mid-engine and rear-wheel drive layout, packing in a 3.8 liter modified V8 twin turbo engine under its hood, backed up by an electric motor. The total output sent to the rear-wheel drive stands at 903 HP and 978 Nm (722 lb-ft) of torque. From 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph), the P1 needs just 2.8 seconds and it can reach a top speed of 350 km/h (217 mph). Only 375 units of the hypercar have been put together and all of them have been sold out.
