The McLaren P1 Concept car has been recently rendered and the images posted below are showing the upcoming British supercar in action.
After it has seen daylight for the first time officially during the 2012 Paris Motor Show in September, the McLaren P1 Concept is ending up in our news once again, this time with the help of some renderings made by Wild-Speed. The images posted below are revealing the official successor of the iconic F1 in action. The production version of the McLaren P1 will make its public debut early next year and deliveries of the supercar will start in the second half of 2013.
The McLaren P1 is the official successor of the iconic F1 and the supercar will be placed above the MP4-12C and the 12C Spyder in terms of both performance and price, but even so, the model will get the same engine as its brothers mentioned above, the 3.8 liter turbo, which should produce an extra 120 HP. The McLaren P1 is challenging the Bugatti Veyron in terms of top speed and the company is saying that this will be the fastest accelerating car in the world. The final production version of the P1 will be unveiled in Geneva next year. Only 500 units of the McLaren P1 are expected to be produced.
